My extraordinarily talented younger sister, Kathleen, is working on a new short film, Revelation of Santa. If you’re interested in the arts and would like to help her out with a small donation, check out her site here. The trailer is still in the works, but she has some photos from the set.

For those of you interested in creating posters, clothes, or whatnot with your own images, CafePress and Zazzle are two sites worth checking out. Both sites let you upload images to create items which you can purchase yourself and also share in profits if others buy your creations too.

Here’s a site that lets you track just about any shipment (UPS, FedEx, USPS, or DHL/AirBorne) and will provide you with an RSS feed of shipment updates and a Google Map displaying where the package has been so far.

Last weekend, the girlfriend and I ventured out to Carter Mountain Orchard. You get to pick the apples right off the tree. We carted home a large bag and made ourselves an apple pie.

I just came across a book printing service, http://www.blurb.com/, which lets you create your own professional looking book. Definitely looks interesting, so I might have to try that out soon.

I’ve posted some random cool pics I’ve taken over the years to Google’s Picasa Web Albums.

If you’ve ever needed to hook up a bunch of wired ethernet devices (such as Tivo, Xbox, PC, etc.) in one room to your wireless network, you will need a wireless ethernet bridge such as the Buffalo Technology Wireless Ethernet Converter. This device will let you plug in up to four devices (or more if you plug in a network switch) and connect them to your home wireless network. It’s a far cheaper alternative than buying individual wireless adapters for each device and a cleaner solution than running an ethernet wire across your house. I bought the Buffalo Technology Wireless Ethernet Converter this past week and would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs something similar.

I highly recommend The Little Book That Beats the Market to anyone interested in investing or merely interested in learning about investing. Joel Greenblatt presents a simple numerical screen that can easily be followed to produce a solid investing strategy that picks value stocks.

TJ Maxx apparently has a new slogan. Personally, I would have gone with something else since they do have some nice items at decent prices, but to each his own I suppose.
